The purchasable catalog is source-partitioned from the conventional basemap. Every promoted import records its authority, identifier, vintage, checksum, licence, confidence and geometry completeness.

U.S. government data. Census statistical boundaries do not establish legal jurisdiction, ownership or land descriptions.

Names and hydrography

USGS GNIS

GNIS supplies permanent names and representative coordinates. Whole-feature NHD/3DHP geometry still requires reconciliation and acceptance.

Coastal and marine source plan

NOAA / GNIS

Marine identity and geometry require explicit review. GNIS points are not navigation boundaries; NOAA geometry has not been imported in this catalog pass.

U.S. catalog

Census + GNIS

Frozen federal source files provide nationwide identities and hierarchy. Catalog records are distinct from the clipped PMTiles display features. No OSM-derived catalog inventory is included in this pass.

This product includes GeoLite Data created by MaxMind, available from MaxMind. GeoIP is a risk signal, not proof of location.

Regional water outlines

These water outlines supplement the basemap. They do not determine purchase rights.

Notification software

Nationwide source ingestion is separate from launch acceptance. Purchases depend on verified coverage, identity, geometry, payment and rollout gates.
