MAPARCHY Terms of Purchase and Payouts
Personal naming and its limits
MAPARCHY offers a playful, user-created naming layer for real places. These personal names appear on MAPARCHY only. They do not alter an official name, record, boundary, ownership interest or navigation product.
Replacement mechanics
A later valid rename replaces the prior active MAPARCHY name. Earlier generations remain in immutable history. A successful purchase does not guarantee how long a name remains current.
Payments and review
All MAPARCHY purchases are final, with no discretionary or voluntary refunds, except where a correction, reversal, chargeback, duplicate-payment resolution, provider requirement or applicable mandatory consumer remedy requires otherwise. Flagged card proposals may be paid and held for human review for up to 24 hours. Rejection or timeout receives a full affected-line and allocated-tax refund and consumes no pricing generation. Crypto proposals requiring review must be approved before invoice creation.
Ordinary earnings and payouts
Stripe Connect is the preferred, optional fiat payout rail for eligible referral and ordinary royalty earnings. Earnings become available 72 hours after the authoritative earning event, in UTC. The CAD $50 minimum applies to the gross available balance for Stripe dispatch, not to earning ownership. Smaller balances remain owed and accumulate. MAPARCHY recovers attributable provider costs without markup, including a monthly active-account charge no more than once per recipient and billing period. Stripe expense, MAPARCHY cost recovery and recipient gross/net amounts are recorded separately. Estimates are reconciled with actual fees through balance adjustments. A Stripe transfer is not a completed bank deposit; standard provider and bank processing, verification, balance availability and reversals may affect delivery. PayPal and supported crypto remain optional alternatives under their existing policies. Event prizes are excluded from Stripe Connect. Business Partner Fees settle as one amount 15 calendar days after the original scheduled event end, with no minimum. Earlier unpaid terms may receive an audited shortening; paid settlements and completed event history are retained. Mandatory payment corrections and negative adjustments remain supported.
Worldwide buyer eligibility
MAPARCHY does not restrict purchases by nationality or GeoIP, including U.S., territorial and unknown-region buyers. Catalog availability remains feature-specific, and an actual provider, sanctions, fraud or legal rejection can still stop a transaction.
Not a contribution
A MAPARCHY purchase is a commercial personalized naming product and is not represented as a charitable or tax-deductible contribution.
